Humanitarian aid after the earthquake in Turkey and Syria
Our mission after the earthquake
After the devastating earthquake on February 6, 2023, in Turkey and Syria, our NGO mobilized to donate clothing, water, and food through the Turkish embassy.
Why do we do this?
-
To protect life: To ensure that those affected have immediate access to essentials.
-
Defending health: Preventing malnutrition in emergency conditions.
-
Preserving dignity: Providing clothing and basic resources to maintain an adequate standard of living.
-
International solidarity: Cooperating with diplomatic institutions to ensure that aid arrives safely and transparently.
-
Coordination at the Turkish embassy: Together with the people at the embassy, we helped to receive and organize donations, strengthening solidarity and community spirit in a time of need.
Relationship with Human Rights
Our action is aligned with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which recognizes:
-
The right to life and health.
-
The right to an adequate standard of living.
-
The importance of international cooperation in times of crisis.
